Capturing the Past filenames combine of an identifier, a timestamp and a catalogue reference number including an ARCHON and country code. The name identifies the source in an internationally identifiable archive catalogue or user defined variation if no Archon code is available and contains a record of the time and date the surrogate was captured. In order to maximise flexibility filenames can be typed by directly; however, reserved characters like slashes are converted to underscores.
